The college is seeking faculty members for a variety of specialties including:
- Basic Medical Sciences: Anatomy, Physiology
- Clinical Specialties:

Contract vs. DOH Positions:
MBBSMC offers positions on both contract and DOH basis. Contract positions offer a higher monthly salary (Rs. 400,000/- to Rs. 200,000/-), while DOH positions offer a lower salary (Rs. 300,000/- to Rs. 90,000/-) with benefits such as job security and potential for permanent employment.
Important Information for DOH Applicants:
- Applicants already working in MBBSMC teaching hospitals must apply through their department head with the required documents and approval from the Secretary Health GoAJ&K. Direct applications from DOH will not be accepted.
- Selected DOH employees will continue to receive their salary from their current DOH position.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
- All applicants must be registered with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC).
- Age limit is 67 years or younger.
- Selection will be based on merit and relevant qualifications, experience, and achievements.
Application Process:
Interested candidates should submit their application package within 15 working days of the advertisement. Applications must include:
- Attested copies of educational certificates, degrees, diplomas, experience certificates, and any relevant recognition documents.
- A detailed CV along with a cover letter highlighting the position applied for and your strengths.
- Valid PM&DC registration certificate.
- Four attested photographs.
- Attested copy of CNIC.
- Domicile certificate.
- PRC (Professional Registration Certificate) if applicable.
- Eligibility Certificate (mandatory for all applicants).
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Important Notes:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Travel allowances will not be provided.
- Selected candidates must join the college within the specified timeframe after receiving the offer letter. Failure to do so will result in blacklisting for future employment at any AJK medical college.
- Faculty members are required to be physically present at the college/hospital for a minimum of six hours per working day.
