The Director Procurement & Stores Role

As Director Procurement & Stores, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of RMU’s procurement and logistics functions. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies.
  • Managing the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
  • Negotiating and finalizing contracts with vendors.
  • Ensuring adherence to Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules.
  • Managing inventory and stores operations.
  • Supervising a team of procurement and logistics staff.

Who We Are Looking For (refer to table below for details)

QualificationDescription
Required Qualification & Experience (select one):
MS or M.Phil in Management Sciences or Commerce of Economics or equivalent qualification. Eight years of post-qualification experience.
OR
MBA or M.Com or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc in Economics (2nd Division) or equivalent qualification. Ten years of post-qualification experience.
Additional Skills:– Strong understanding of PPRA rules and regulations. – Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. – Proven ability to manage and lead a team. – Proficient in computer applications including MS Office Suite.

Eligibility

  • Open to male and female candidates with Punjab Domicile (permanent residency) in Pakistan.
  • Maximum age limit of 50 years.
