Candidate Eligibility:
APSAC is seeking candidates from two backgrounds:
- Armed Forces (Retired): Preferably Major/Lieutenant Colonel (retired) within the last 3 years, aged 45-55 with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Administration and Management of the APS system, experience in DAA & OMG and AA & QMG appointments, and holding PSC or LSC qualifications.
- Civil Candidates: Aged 35-45 with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in administrative affairs/management in a renowned school/education institution. Experience in procurement/supply chain management is a plus.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop practical solutions to streamline administrative processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security procedures, access control, and surveillance systems to maintain a safe learning environment.
- Ability to respond calmly and decisively during security incidents, emergencies, and crises while adhering to established protocols.
- Keen eye for identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities and implementing effective mitigation measures.
- Familiarity with security equipment and technology such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with various departments and ensure seamless integration of administrative and security protocols.
