The selection process for PAF officers is rigorous and designed to identify the best candidates. It involves several stages:

  1. Online Registration: Register for the desired course on the official PAF website (https://www.joinpaf.gov.pk/).
  2. Written Tests: Candidates will undergo written tests in English, Physics, and Mathematics (for relevant courses).
  3. Initial Medical Examination and Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated physically and interviewed by PAF selection boards.
  4. Initial Physical Test: Candidates must meet specific physical fitness standards.
  5. Intelligence and Selection Board (ISSB): Successful candidates will proceed to the ISSB for psychological and personality assessments.
  6. Final Medical Examination: Candidates who pass the ISSB will undergo a final medical check-up.
  7. Flying Aptitude Test (FAT): GD(P) candidates will take the FAT to assess their suitability for flying.
